Tonight I was looking online making my grocery list for tomorrow when a deal popped up that I just had to try to get. I read that Lysol was on sale for $2.00 at Walmart and then Rexall had $2.00 off coupons making them FREE. My husband ran over to Rexall and was able to get 32 of them. When I went to Walmart they were $2.68. I decided to get 10 anyways as it was still a good deal. I also picked up some mouth wash, floss and toothpaste. Then I ran over to Loblaws to check out another deal on candles when I saw they had their Lysol on sale for $1.99 so I grabbed a flyer and ran back over to Walmart ... 10 minutes to close ... I grabbed my remaining 22 lysols and bought those. The best part is I was paid to walk away with everything :) Here is my breakdown and my photos of the coupons I used.
9x Mouthwash = regular $1.00 coupon $1.00 = Free (saved $9.00)
8x floss = regular $3.67 coupon for free including tax ($4.15) = Free (saved $33.20)
10x lysol wipes = regular $2.68 coupon $2.00 = $0.68ea (saved $20.00)
6x lysol wipes = regular $2.68 PM Loblaws $1.99 coupon $2.00 = -$0.01ea (saved $12.00)
16x lysol toilet bowl cleaner = regular $2.68 PM Loblaws $1.99 coupon $2.00 = $0.01ea (saved $32.00)
57x toothpaste = regular $1.00 coupon $1.50 = -$0.50ea (saved $85.50)
Subtotal = - $25.76
HST = $21.27
Total Spent = $0.00
Total MADE = $4.49
Total Saved = $191.70

Great job.... I am new at using coupons. A friend of mine has got me thinking that it's worth it. Question: You used coupons more that once Ex. you bought 57 toothpaste with $1.00 coupon and paid $0.50 each, can you use a coupon more than once on the same items??? sorry for the silly question.
